Healthcare partnerships · Sales leadership

I close new business, and I build the pipeline that feeds it.

Director of Partnership Development at Invoisync, selling billing and credentialing to medical and behavioral health practices. Before that, I ran a branch with about $500M in annual production at Wells Fargo and built a national sales program from zero. Air Force veteran.

Where I’ve done it

2022 – now

Invoisync

Director of Partnership Development · medical billing and credentialing

  • Own new-practice sales from first call to signed agreement and handoff to operations.
  • Sell to mental health, therapy, ABA, PT, urgent care, family practice and surgical groups. Most conversations turn on payers: credentialing, panel enrollment, denials, aged claims and audits.
  • Designed the company’s outbound system so new conversations no longer depend on purchased leads (see How I work).
  • Hired and coach an offshore appointment setter from scored call recordings.

Engaged through my firm, Freedom Independent Sales, LLC. Minority owner (8%).

2020 – 2022

Empire Today

Sales

  • Self-generated much of my own business and took each new initiative to a working result.
2010 – 2020

BYOU Magazine

National Director of Sales

  • Took a new print magazine to more than 1,000 newsstands in its first year.
  • Signed national partnerships with the U.S. military and the Girl Scouts; built the advertising, sponsorship and licensing programs; hired and trained the sales team.
Earlier

Wells Fargo Home Mortgage

Mortgage Banker, promoted to Branch Sales Manager

  • Fastest-growing mortgage banker in the company in my first two years; built my book through referral partners.
  • Ran the P&L for a branch with about $500M in production; national trainer for the Core Sales Skills program; sent in to turn around struggling branches.
Why I’m looking

A bigger table

Invoisync runs well. I own 8%, my residuals on the clients I’ve signed continue, and I step back from new sales when I take a role. That makes me stable, not split.

What I want next is to build a partnerships function inside a company with a real market: carry a number, open the hard accounts, and build the team and the playbook that keep it growing.

How I work

I don’t wait for leads

When purchased leads stopped producing, I designed Invoisync’s outbound system myself. I made every call on what it does, what it’s allowed to do and what it costs. I used Claude as my engineer: it wrote most of the code and workflow logic while I specified, tested and fixed. I run it, and when a job fails the alert comes to my phone.

Unverified means no send. Every address is checked before anything goes out.
Booked means paused. A booked call stops every sequence automatically.
AI says it’s AI. The voice agent discloses itself and never quotes price.
No patient data. The chat assistant screens it out before anything is stored.
Hard budget caps on mail and ads, so spend can’t run away.
Humans approve changes. The weekly AI review is read-only and proposes fixes.

Training

How I learned

U.S. Air Force

Target Intelligence Specialist. Technical training in analysis, precision and working to deadline. Honorable discharge.

Wells Fargo

National trainer for the Core Sales Skills program, teaching other bankers how to sell.

AI and automation

Learned by building and running production workflows every day: data feeds, CRM automation, AI agents and their guardrails.

From a former colleague

“He will be your best salesperson before too long and if you need him to direct/build a sales team he can do that with equal skill… I have worked with, and for, some amazing salespeople and leaders in the past but he is by far and away the best.”
